Daily Digest — Automated Morning Briefing
A scheduled n8n workflow that combines news, weather, unread email and calendar events into one friendly AI-written briefing, delivered by Gmail every weekday morning.
Built by Redoan Uzzaman, Full-Stack Developer & AI Engineer.

Overview
Daily Digest is a personal assistant built in n8n. Every weekday at 9:00 AM it collects what you need to know for the day and sends one concise, conversational email.
How it works
- News: RSS feeds from CNN Money and Business Insider are summarized and grouped by topic.
- Weather: OpenWeatherMap forecasts for the next 24 hours, with clothing tips and umbrella alerts.
- Email: unread personal Gmail messages from the last 24 hours, with newsletters and automated mail filtered out.
- Calendar: today's Google Calendar events.
The four sources are collected in parallel, and each is processed by its own GPT-4o-mini chain. A final AI agent then merges them into a single plain-text, mobile-friendly briefing in a light second-person voice and sends it through Gmail.
Engineering notes
Parallel branches with merge and aggregate nodes keep the run fast, while per-source summarization keeps the final agent's prompt small and focused.
